Garnsychan Partnership regards action to conserve or create a sustainable environment as an essential component of community development activity. Garnsychan Partnership is committed to making its own work an example of best practice for other groups in the area. In its work with other community organisations and voluntary groups it will encourage them to take the broadest possible view of their objectives and activities and to develop integrated policies and strategies which take the social, economic and environmental context of their work in to consideration.

Borrow dont buy!
We have introduced a lending library of household items, garden tools and children outdoor play equipment that residents can borrow and return once they have finished.

The project is to encourage access to affordable borrowing of things they need but don't own, Saving money and space in their homes.

Residents who join the borrow revolution get access to a whole range of goods that they hire out for as long as they need (T+Cs apply) for a small donation (vary depending on item) they are to sign a liability waiver and simply return on the agreed date.

We have items that include stage lighting, projectors, cameras, kitchen blenders, popcorn machines, hand tools garden tools, camping equipment, pet carriers, outdoor childrens toys and party hire and much more, all of which are regularly compliance tested and meet the EU H+S standards.
