An Award Winning Charity
The Garnsychan Community Hub and Recycling Centre is a trusted, community-led social enterprise based in North Torfaen. Our mission is to empower communities to build resilience, improve physical and mental wellbeing, adopt healthy behaviours, and break cycles of poverty.
In response to ongoing cost-of-living pressures, rural isolation, and entrenched inequalities, the Hub operates as a Community Wellbeing Hub using a triage model that connects residents to essential support in a safe, welcoming environment. Alongside this, our recycling enterprise, Circulate, addresses material poverty and environmental sustainability while creating training and employment pathways for people furthest from the labour market.
Royal Recognition
Our Charity has been supported by the The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation (PWCF).
As a result of our outstanding work we were honoured to be invited to meet the now King Charles III at a celebratory evening dinner. It is an amazing achievement for our small charity to receive such royal recognition and we also got to meet so many other great charities across Wales to network, share stories and make connections for future partnerships.
