Prescription Service

In partnership with local pharmacies and GP surgeries, we at Garnsychan support those who are isolated or have difficulties collecting their prescription due to illness or mobility issues and we will deliver to residents directly.

This has continued on the back of the demand on our GP practices and pharmacies influenced by COVID. Which caused huge shifts in demand that were unprecedented in both magnitude and suddenness, this in turn caused emotional stress on the workforce and delays in patients receiving medications.
 

To weather the storm, Garnsychan Partnership reached out to offer immediate support to help maintain efficiency and demand.

During the pandemic we safely and securely delivered over 3000 prescriptions to residents.

Again, this provision whilst no longer in covid times, we still support residents who with a local collection and delivery service. Residents can contact us directly to pick up their prescription and deliver their medication directly to their door. Furthermore, we support residents with accessing and booking their prescriptions online, we have laptops that can be hired out and staff on hand to assist where it is needed.
